A watermelon is a very nutritious fruit and vegetable; yes vegetable because it has two parts, its inside is the fruit part while the outside is the vegetable. This actually makes it fall into the same family as cucumber and pumpkin.




All the parts of a watermelon are very nutritious and essential for a very healthy life, though some people do not see it that way. Everyone has a preference of the part he or she would keep and discard.
Basically there are three parts of a watermelon, at least the one that will be discussed here, we are not in agric class, are we?

The first reason is you thrash the watermelon rind. It is okay to think that the tasteless part is worthless and worthy of discarding, that is because you didn’t know the value, but after reading this post you will surely grind every rind.

You can chose to slice the watermelon rind into a blender and then drink up the nutritious and healthy liquid. And for the seeds, you can roast the seeds, add a little salt and then sprinkle a bit of olive oil and then enjoy the crunchiness of the gift of nature.
