Two Basics of Facebook Advertising & Instagram Placement
Two Basics of Facebook Advertising & Instagram Placement
Facebook Advertising is like feeding a hungry baby; I relate it to this because it is a very similar scenario where you have to give the child what it wants to eat and not just anything because of the fact that it is hungry; you have to give your baby the right food.
In Facebook ads, only two things matter; first is the content of your ad and secondly, your targeting (this includes both the geographic and demographic targeting). You have to check, recheck and be sure what you are about showing to your chosen audience is the right thing and also making sure it has zero error (both grammatically and graphically).
It would also be necessary to note that it is not always advisable to tamper with other tools with exception of the "Location" to show ads to and the "Age" group to show the ads to. This is because manipulating other tools unnecessarily might end up causing your ads to underperform.
It is also ideal to monitor your ads and see how it is performing, know what demography is doing much better after comparisons. The above image shows which demography is doing better. In this particular ad, only the age comparison is made because that was the only tool that was used.
Using this screenshot I attached, which is an ad set I designed; notice the "Impressions", "Reach", the "Cost Per Result" and the surprising "Amount" spent. The figures are incredibly amazing! All the figures. Over 12,700 Impressions and over 12,400 Reach makes this a success giving the total amount spent ($1). This figures would have been lower if the "Cost Per Result" was higher, so it is very important to bid wisely until you get a reasonable Cost Per a Thousand Impression.
PS: This has an Instagram placement solely.
Facebook has indeed proved to be the most converting platform when it comes to social media advertising. Like I said earlier, feed your babies (audience) with the right food (content), because it's all about what they want to see and how they like it best.
Goodluck on creating your next ad set and hopefully, it would be more converting. Thanks for reading
