The Science
Mangoes are one of the most cultivated fruits, and are loved because of their juiciness and nutrition. Mangoes belong to the flowering plant genus Mangifera and are of the numerous species.
Mangoes can grow to a height of 35-40 m or 115-131 ft tall; the trees have a long life span and can survive and produce fruits for up to 300 years. Ripe mangoes have red, orange and evergreen colors and often have sweet smells and are very tasty and juicy while unripe ones are sour, acidic and produce uninviting smell.

Ways to Eat
Mangoes can be eaten by either peeling off the skin, or eaten together after a thorough wash with clean water. Mangoes can be juiced with a juicing machine and is best served chilled, with no additives it can be very nutritious (nutritious contents are found below).
Sour and unripe mangoes can be eaten raw with salt or chillie, and cal also be used to make various sauce, while ripe mangoes can be eaten raw by slicing into layers or munched.
Mangoes are used to make juices, ice creams, flavors and cocktails.
