Stop Intimidating Innocent Civilians
Many
Nigerians if you are not among the victims, has suffered a great deal in the
hands of the so called SARS. It has indeed become mores for them to embarrass,
disgrace and insult the helpless and defend-less civilians in the country.

The SARS is a
security body is a Special Anti Robbery Squad,
One of the
common locale the operate vigorously in, is Obosi. Obosi is a town in Idemili
North of Anambra State. They are like preys before the SARS. Even though immoral
and illegal activities go on in this society, the blame should not be heaped on
their heads, but on civilization.
It is very
common to notice that a city that has many foreigners, visitors, non-indigenes,
are likely to experience criminal activities (robbing, kidnapping, killing,
cultism etc.), because there are different kinds of people been hosted in the
society. No wonder, due to the ever increasing migration to Malaysia, which
subsequently lead to the high note of criminal activities in the country, the
government decided to hang a perpetrator caught in the act.
Not
deviating from the topic, the SARS should realize that the criminal activities
going on around Obosi should not give them the impetus to insult the indigenes.
Giving that Obosi is bordered with towns with a high rate of mobility.
There was a
case of a car theft, that happened within March 2015, a Lexus was reported
stolen. And for the reason that the car had GPS installed, it made possible,
it’s tracking. The GPS was suddenly un-mounted and the SARS tracked it to the
area where the signal was lost.
When they
arrived there, they arrested over 10 youths, which were only males. And I
happen to know one of the victims. A young boy, whose father is a Secretary to
the Obosi Security, Who has never been involved in any unholy act, Was kept
there for more than three (3) weeks, been punished for a crime he never committed. Even
though they car was later found 11 days later, they still never wanted to
release him, all they did was delay his release. They knew he was not guilty, but sorry to say, they were looking for a way to squeeze out money.
Apart from this, they are also good in intimidating innocent, men and women. boys and girls, women. They think that they themselves can not be questioned.

This is how
many innocent civilians perish for a crime they nothing about, this must stop.
With respect
that they are obliged to carry out their duty as demanded, they should do it lawfully. They must stop embarrassing innocent civilians all over the Republic, it
must stop. For what is worth doing, is worth
doing well.
I urge and
charge Nigerians to kick a campaign against this disgusting attitude of the so
called SARS.
